I Thought It Would Last Forever
Personal Work
A 7×5” acrylic gouache personal painting about attachment, impermanence, and the difficult realization that even the things we love deeply are temporary.
A small pink bug rests quietly on top of an oversized skull. The contrast between the soft, almost toy-like creature and the symbol of mortality allows the image to approach loss with tenderness rather than darkness.
