Seeing You as You Were
Client: Unlikely Collaborators

Created for Unlikely Collaborators as an editorial illustration about the ways our past experiences can shape how we see the people closest to us, even after they have grown or changed.

A parent focuses on painting a childhood version of their now-adult child, while the adult stands nearby trying to get their attention. The distance between the real person and the portrait represents the gap between who someone has become and the version of them another person may still be holding onto.
