Created as a spot illustration exploring the vulnerability involved in reaching toward another person, particularly when both people are carrying their own defenses.

Two cactus-like figures attempt to make contact despite being covered in sharp spines. Their awkward interaction becomes a simple metaphor for how connection can require tenderness even when closeness feels uncomfortable or risky.
